Well, the holidays are over and it is time to get back to work.
How were yours spent?
Miss Nana Wyshall B. Wright’s holidays were filled with visits to family and friends. One such visit left her asking herself “When is a child no longer a child, but an adult?” Possible answers include when they turn 18 or 21; when they have a child of their own; when they get married; when they are financially self- sufficient. Hmmmmmm.
What do you think?
Miss Nana Wyshall B. Wright is confused as she has been told that any of the above qualified for adulthood. Miss Nana Wyshall B. Wright is confused because she was taught to believe that a child had to earn the respect of other adults to be called a peer, an adult.
